First you need to remove the steering column switches. Next, you need to disassemble them by snapping off the top cover with a small screwdriver. There is a small rocker on the turn signal switch that makes the loud knocking noise.

To eliminate these clicks you will need rubber (you can use an old door seal). It must be glued at the point of contact between the scenes (photo below).

To ensure smoother switching of the lever, it is worth slightly filing the plastic bump on the tip so that it becomes rounded - this way it will stop jumping out of its place all the time (photo below).

As one of the alternative upgrade options, you can consider weakening the internal spring (see photo above).

After assembling and installing the levers, you can also additionally cover the housing of the steering column switches and the steering shaft housing with vibration material.

By the way, you can also replace the standard factory steering column switches with similar ones from LADAKalina or LADAPriora.

The intermittent mode is turned on, and the brushes work continuously, then the problem is in the relay, it needs to be replaced. If the replacement does not help, then it is likely that the contacts on the limit switch have oxidized or burnt.
If, when you turn on the windshield wiper, the windshield wipers and armature do not work, then the blades may have frozen. Another reason could be a burnt anchor.
The electric motor does not work, but the fuses are good. In this case, it is necessary to check the contacts that the wiper drive has, as well as the motor. It is possible that the VAZ windshield wiper blades are stuck or the armature is burnt out.

After this, we install a new switch in place of the failed one, replacement is carried out in the reverse order of removal.

So, we take a piece of carpet that best matches the color of the interior design of your car, if all the parts are original, then we use black material. In principle, you can take a carpet of any color and paint it in the desired color from a regular spray can.

Next, we take glue and simply glue the carpet onto the steering column switch. The gap will be closed, which will stop dust from entering the steering column, and also improve the appearance of the switches.

For this method, you can use not only carpet, but any other material. If you use a material that is adhesive on one side, you won't even need glue.

As was written before, to close the cracks, you can use anthers for other car models, but you can also use ready-made switches, with the corrugation already installed, such as, for example, switches for the UAZ Patriot. You can, of course, try to find the corrugation separately, but most often they sell a ready-made kit with handles. You will have to tinker a little with installation and connection, but the whole structure will look like one whole.

As you can see, there are several options for solving the problem. According to reviews, the installation of anthers from various foreign cars is considered the most effective. This design, in addition to aesthetic improvement, will create a slight sound insulation effect, and switching the levers will become virtually silent.
