To prevent wires hidden under the upholstery from interfering with your work, move them to the side and temporarily glue them with a strip of electrical tape. Remove the lock from the pins and inspect it for damage; if there is any, it will have to be replaced.

Replacing the door lock cylinder

  1. The door trim is removed. To do this, use a screwdriver to remove the window lifter handle, the interior door handle, and the trim on the handle that opens the door. The bottom shelf of the door is removed. To do this, unscrew all the retaining screws. The top door lock button is unscrewed. The casing is secured with pistons. They need to be carefully bent. If you break several pistons, the trim will still knock while driving.
  2. The rods are unhooked from the lock of the outer and inner handles.
  3. Use a small wrench to unscrew the nut securing the outside handle to the door.
  4. The outer upper handle is removed along with the rods.
  5. Using a screwdriver or an awl, the pin is pulled out, which locks the lock's lever. You can gently knock it out with a small hammer.
  6. The lock leash is removed from the handle.
  7. The lock cylinder spring is removed using a screwdriver.
  8. The key is inserted into the old cylinder and turned, and then removed along with it. If there is no key or a foreign object is stuck inside the cylinder, you can pry it off with a screwdriver.
  9. The hole into which the larva is inserted is lubricated with lithol.
  10. The new cylinder along with the key is inserted in place of the old one.

All parts and mechanisms are installed in the reverse order.

Removing the lock, drive and latch of the trunk lid

To remove the lock, remove the four pistons by prying them off with a screwdriver.

. disconnect the rod from the lock drive.

Squeezing the clamps, disconnect the lock wire block from the rear wiring harness block. We use a marker to mark the position of the lock relative to the trunk lid.

Using a socket or a 10mm wrench, unscrew the three nuts securing the lock.

Remove the trunk lock with rod and wires. We install the trunk lock in the reverse order according to the previously marked marks. To remove the lock drive, disconnect the lock rod from the drive (see above).

We use a marker to mark the position of the lock drive relative to the trunk lid.

Using the “8” socket, unscrew the two nuts securing the lock drive to the trunk lid.

Remove the lock drive.

Using a screwdriver, remove the retaining ring.

Remove the pressure lever.

We take out the cylinder lock mechanism. We assemble and install the lock drive in the reverse order according to the previously applied marks. To remove the lock retainer.
